This is my favorite time of year and JYC has now become something of a tradition. You can see last years journal in the slide bar on the right hand side...here are a few of my favorite layouts from last year..

I would like....

....to be able to take photographs like these.

A few weeks ago in Milton Keynes shopping centre there was a stall selling alphabet photographs. I stood for ages looking at them....I wish I'd picked up a leaflet....I don't know why I didn't. I think I possibly thought I could take photographs like that! I mean I am doing a photography course...mmmm. So I've set myself a mission for 2010! I'll let you know how I get on!

I do not know the name of the company in Middleton Hall but I've found a site that sells them

Design a Clipboard

A few photos of the girls, making their mark on a plain and ordinary clipboard and note book.....

.......and can you believe I forgot to take some pictures of your finished notebooks and the gorgeous flowers you made.

Sweet Child of Mine....

(....by guns and roses)

....if only that were true, those of you who know Stan know he's better suited to the Devil in Disguise!

Don't you just sometimes feel like the worst mum in the whole world.......or maybe it's just me.

Last week I was sorting through the chest I keep all my scrapbooks in when Stanley asked to see his book...........yikes!! after two boys I couldn't face another baby boy album so I never done one.

I know I know.....It's not all bad I do have layouts of Stan over the past five years. It's not that I never done any, its that I never got around to putting all the layouts into an album just for him. Try explaining that to a five year old!! It didn't go down well.

So now I am on a mission to put together a 12 x 12 book just of Stanley.........and believe me he is making sure it happens. Everytime I sit down he asks if i'm doing his baby photos!

Here's the first few. Lovely minds eye papers, bazzil cardstock, American craft and mm letter stickers.

MaKe

I am so sorry for the short notice, i really meant to post this....a week or so ago.......and completely forgot! Nothing knew there then!

MaKe is a craft fair organised by Carole Pollard of the craft magazine Craft Matters. Her first craft fair in September was such a success than she's organised another one for ......tomorrow. See i said it was short notice!

So if you have nothing better to do tomorrow, or if your going to do your Tesco shop, make sure you pop into Madcap in Wolverton to check out all those crafty stalls. Open from 10am till 4pm. I might see you there.

Pencil

Only four more weeks left on my photography course, and whilst i can now use my camera in manual mode and take some......i think.....rather reasonable photographs, i still have an awful lot to learn.

Here's hoping that everything clicks together over the next four weeks.

Two photo's i took at Centre Parcs.

Happy Anniversary

On the 25th October...1969 my mum married my dad.
A 40th Wedding Anniversary wouldn't have been the same without marking the occasion, so a little something just had to be scrapped.

Happy Anniversary mum and dad, love you lots xx

PS. Keep your eyes peeled for when i post our Centre Parcs pictures!!
PPS. Album by Kaiser Kraft with K and Co papers.

a - z of me.

I promised the girls that I would post some pictures of them. The idea behind this mini project was for the girls to think of a word beginning with each letter of the alphabet that best describes them. There were some brilliant ideas and I look forward to seeing the finished albums.
