Me on Monday

I'm joining in late. I hope Sian doesn't mind :)

Last week was full on. Trying to juggle work around the boys activities. It's lucky work is so flexible. The days I was supposed to work didn't pan out due to No1 sons activities changing throughout the week and having to be on hand to drop off and pick up. The joys of living in a village and not have regular or direct public transport. Really....I didn't mind at all. Any reason not to go to work is a good one :)

It was a weekend of support No1 son's fund raising efforts. It started out with a mammoth baking session for the quiz night.
We rallied around some friends and family, as did his other team members and it was quite the Friday night.  They had a full house (those couple of empty chairs you see, were taken!), it was super to see so much support for them.  No2 and no3 came with us. I was impressed. Who would have thought that spending time on the xbox was educational...I think i'll save that for another post :) I do love a quiz night and the camaraderie that goes with it. See all those empty cake stands. They went down a treat.

A little kite flying on Sunday with No2 & 3....and the hound. The views were amazing.

We managed to keep our entertaining plans, re-arranging them around Sunday's music festival. Another mammoth baking session (cookies this time...for a change).

The weekend was wrapped up with Bank Holiday Monday - all of us together for a little shopping and lunch out before returning home for a chilled out afternoon.

How was your Monday?

If you'd like to know/read more... Sian would love you to stop by.

Before I go I'd like to say a big thank you, to you, for the time you took to leave me a comment with your thoughts and experiences on my previous post. It means a lot.

  6. Haven't been to a quiz night for ages - they are good fun though aren't they? And a great way of fundraising. Especially if you have scrummy cakes to nibble on during the rounds!
