Love Paper

I’m not sure when my love for paper started.

Ddi it start with the post office playset I wonder? I have always loved stationary, pretty notelets for my penpals. A nice address book. A diary.

To be introduced to scrapbooking, all those years ago was meant to be I’m sure.

It was 16 years ago now, in the days when items in the UK were sparse. There was no internet shopping (at least not for me - we didn’t have a computer then) and it was pre-digital.

Since those early days crafting has become very popular. It has also become my sanity. Especially in a houseful of boys.

Design teams
I’ve was lucky enough to be on SJ Crafts design team from September 2011 until May 2014, when Sarah made a decision to close her business. I enjoyed working with all the gorgeous products she sent me.

For a short while I joined Fantastic Ribbons design team. It was fun to incorporate ribbons and washi tape into my projects

I have a super friend, it happens that she grew up very near me in West London. She has a small craft business she runs with a friend of hers Crafty Business 4U….selling mulberry paper flowers and loads more. I love that she asks me to make examples for her.

I was honoured when Sian Fair asked me to sail away with her and Jennifer Grace asked me to work with some of her Happy Scatter products for a guest post during one of her blog events.

Classes
For ten years now I have been holding scrapbook evenings and this is the second year of holding card class evenings.

I am not affiliated with anyone and everything is my own idea - maybe with a little help from Pinterest when inspiration is at a low.

  2. It's like reading my history and love of paper and pretty stationery! I know you're near Northampton as your boys are Saints fans and would love to know where you hold classes too as I'm not far from Northampton myself. TFS Karen x
